Just read A step-by-step guide to developing a high-impact online course on THE Campus. It captures exactly what we’re aiming for at my institution. My experience? Academic buy-in at all levels is absolutely key if the process is to succeed.

I pushed out the Board activity in #moodle this week to my institution providing a sustainable Padlet-like tool to promote student #collaboration in online learning environments. Early users are enjoying it and will use it instead of the Forum activity in some instances.

Sold off some of my Fuji camera gear (but not all of it). Taking a gamble on the new iPhone Pro which is pre-ordered as early reviews are positive and as they say, the best camera you have… is the one you have with you (or something like that).

A trip to Longleat and one broken car later…

The latest issue of Never Too Small has just dropped though the door. Looking forward to getting into this over the weekend. #nevertoosmall #nts

Netiquette

Here’s a link to a longer-form article I’ve written in the past. Way back when, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I was asked to write something about the expected behaviour of students in online learning scenarios, commonly known as online learning etiquette or ‘netiquette’ - here is my guidance.

Who has the time to read long-form blog ramblings, let alone the time to write them? Short-form blogging is my new normal, but occasionally, when I write longer-form pieces, I’ll link to articles, which can be particularly helpful for those who struggle with sleep.

I can’t think of a better first post than what this image evokes in me, and just thinking that I was at the Oasis reunion gig 2 weeks ago still seems surreal. #rocknrollstar
